STORY OF MY THIRD WEEK IN BANGKOK, THAILAND

DAY 16 IN THAILAND

Activity, Monday 5 February 2018

Today's activity is, after drinking milk, all the children are allowed to play outside the classroom, then after they finish playing in the classroom, then they all wash their hands and go to the class for traditional Thai dance dance to be performed.

After finishing the dancing, all the children watched the video played by their teacher through the computer about the communication tools, the teacher explained the Thai names from the communications tool, along with their respective functions.

After the teacher explains, the children are asked to draw and color according to their keingan, then explain one by one the intent of the picture they have drawn in front of the class.

The activities in school today are, for today's topic of learning is still the same as yesterday, that is about communication, the teacher re-explain and mention the names and functions of each communication tool whose image is on the board.
After completing the explanation, then the teacher invites the child to play word guess by whisper, the way the game is with the teacher asked one child to be whispered one word by the teacher, then the child will whisper back the word to another friend until the last person, must forward fore and say out loud what words the child with from which has been whispered his friend earlier.

For activities in school today is, the morning activity is the same as usual. And for today's learning activities I teach in the classroom. I teach there about the same topic as yesterday, that is about communication tools. Here I explain to the child about the names of communication tools in English along with each function of the tool. After completing the explanation, I ask the child to do the coloring activity and also thicken the letters. After coloring and thickening the letters I asked the child to watch an animated video about the communication tools through my laptop.

DAY 19 IN THAILAND

Today's activity is, I re-teach in a class with the same topic that is about communication tools, I re-repeat explain the names and each function of the communication tools that I have previously explained.

For the child's activity today, I ask the child to make a letter with origami paper, I teach the children to fold the origami paper so that it becomes an envelope, which can be used by the children to put the letter they have written. Once I finished writing a letter from an origami paper, I asked the child to match the picture and also give the color to the matching image.

As usual every Friday I do not go to school, because I and other friends must follow the Thai culture class. And for today's classroom learning is about the traditional Thai game. We are all asked to gather in the field to do this game.

For the first game, we have to run a relay to hand a piece of cloth to a teammate, for the second game it is tom and cat that we have to chase a friend before the friend gets to his seat, and for the last game is Mommy Snack and Daddy Snack game this requires Mommy Snack to keep his children lined up behind him not caught by Daddy Snack.

DAY 21 IN THAILAND

My activity today is to go to my buddy's house named Panista Pumdokmai, I went with my friend Lisa Marthalina Sadikin who is same with me from Lambung Mangkurat University, and another friend Tyas Bella Pratiwi from University Mulawarman.

From the hotel we had to take the bus first, before my buddy picked up in the van. The journey to my buddy house is about 2 hours. After till in my buddy house, we are all at suguhi lunch which is very good from my buddy mother.

After my visit to my buddy house, we proceed to go to Chatuchak Market to buy a gift that we will bring back to Indonesia.

My activity today is, I am invited to go to the Gatsby Gala Night Party which is hosted by the Early Childhood Program, where the event is a farewell event for college students who have finished college.

In the afternoon before going to the event I was picked up by my buddy Hanee and Fern to get to the pickle place. the show features a variety of dances, songs, and more dedicated to teachers and students. And after the event was finished I was interrupted back by my Supervisior named teacher Suphanwadee Waiyaroopn to return to the hotel.
